🌞 Soak Up Sunshine & Stories on Our Winter Reading StoryWalk! 📚 ☀️With beautiful sunshine and clear weather in the forecast for the next week, now’s the perfect time for families to get outdoors and enjoy our Winter Reading StoryWalk through downtown Nevada City! From January 1–31, you can pick up a StoryWalk map at the Madelyn Helling Library or Harmony Books and stroll through town reading the pages of Milo Imagines the World as you go it’s a magical blend of fresh air, fun, and literacy for all ages. 📖There’s no better way to make memories together: let the kids lead the way from page to page, breathe in that crisp winter sunshine, and enjoy every step of this cheerful community tradition. ☕️And while you’re out there exploring the StoryWalk, make it a mini family adventure! Stop into one of our cozy local cafés for a hot beverage whether it’s a steamy latte, cocoa, or tea to warm up and reconnect after your walk. ❤️ Grab a snack, visit a shop, or wander into one of the downtown boutiques; the StoryWalk winds past so many great local spots that are perfect for a break and a little browsing during your day out. It’s the perfect combo sunshine, stories, and local treats so get out there and enjoy it! 📖✨ Take a selfie along the way. Post your selfie on social media, follow and tag the library on Instagram @Nevada_County_Library or Facebook. Include the hashtag #miloimaginesthelibrary. OR stop by a branch of the library and show your selfie to a friendly librarian. Now everyone in the selfie is entered to win a library beanie!
